Dr. Millie Fell is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founding physician of Brighton Eye. She is an expert in cataract surgery and has performed thousands of routine and complicated cataract surgeries for over two decades.
Dr. Fell completed her medical and surgical residency and received her Medical Retinal Fellowship at Manhattan’s prestigious New York University Medical Center (NYU). She is on staff as Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU’s School of Medicine where she teaches ophthalmology residents how to perform cataract surgery. Dr. Fell is also an attending physician at Manhattan’s New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Brooklyn Surgical Center and Brooklyn’s Community Hospital.
Dr. Fell is also a diabetic eye disease specialist and performs laser treatment for Diabetic Retinopathy. She also performs the latest treatments for Macular Degeneration and other retinal vascular disorders.
Dr. Fell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She is a member of the New York Ophthalmologic Association and the Brooklyn Ophthalmologic Association. She earned entry as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS), having performed thousands of eye surgeries and laser treatments.
Dr. Fell was born in Israel and moved to New York as a child. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Alan, of over 30 years who is a practicing attorney. She has three adult children of whom she is very proud.
